According to Leslie, the internet is a very large place and using search engines like Google with queries such as “Dry Cleaners” or “Dry Cleaning supplies” turn up search results with 500,000 to more than one million pages. With this new directory, anyone in the industry can have a free listing and a click through link to their site. Listings Include Associations, Cleaners, Industry Publications, as well as separate listings for each type of vendor. Consumers will also be able to easily find a cleaner in their area with the State by State search feature. There is no charge for having a listing as the cost of maintaining the site will be paid for by advertising from outside sources. The goal of the Dry Cleaners Directory is not to take away from any other site but to have instant access to the resources that cleaners are looking for without spending hours hunting around on Google trying to find all the point of sale systems made specifically for cleaners, or a chemical company because you couldn’t remember their domain name had a dash in it. We have started collecting links from various sources and will continue to grow this database as indusrty representatives make individual submissions.
